From the bush fires of Australia to the Paris couture collections Liz Coggin’s media career has embraced them all.
Liz trained as a journalist in the UK before moving to Western Australia where she worked in radio and T.V. for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
When she returned to the UK, she worked features/women’s editor on a plethora of newspapers before becoming Editor of a national bridal glossy magazine Bliss for Brides. During this time her work was nominated for many prestigious national awards.
Returning to her beloved Yorkshire from London years later Liz continued to write and edit for numerous wedding magazine, websites and broadcast on weddings and honeymoons. She has also appeared on T.V. as a commentator on wedding style and as a trend forecaster.
A member of the British Guild of Travel Writers she has travelled extensively and experienced weddings world-wide and must bear the unique distinction of having slept in over 150 bridal suites worldwide on her own. Her book Wonderful Wedding Destinations was published in the UK and in the United States by AA Publishing
Liz continues to contribute on a regular basis to leading newspapers and magazines on fashion, beauty, travel and the arts.
She is a regular theatre critic and a member of the prestigious Critics Circle.
In the past she has written and directed plays and musicals, ran her own theatre company and is in demand as an after dinner and luncheon speaker. Liz holds a teaching degree and up until recently ran her own arts academy in Leeds.
